The club works best when clear pieces are shared by an ongoing team. You do not need to be the fastest runner, attend every run or know exactly where you fit.

Roles can be co-owned, backed up and supported with a checklist, account access and a hands-on handover.
No role will be assigned without a direct conversation and a clear agreement about the work, authority, backup and handover.

Running credentials are optional. Being willing to communicate, ask for help and follow through matters more.
Volunteers do not provide youth supervision. Devon Deer does not conduct criminal record or vulnerable sector checks on volunteers. A Run Host, fronty or sweeper must never accept responsibility for an unaccompanied person under 19 or substitute for their parent or legal guardian.
